This Cookie & Tracking Policy explains how Planetary Records uses cookies and similar technologies on planetary.music and services.planetary.music. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, pixels, and SDKs. Together we call them "cookies" here.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary. Required to run the sites and remember your sign-in
and consent choices. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics. Help us understand how the sites are used so we can improve
them (for example, Google Analytics 4 and our own first-party event logging).
- Advertising / marketing. Let us measure and optimize campaigns and reach
relevant audiences (for example, Google Ads, the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, and the Reddit Pixel).
3. Your choices and consent
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies load only after you consent via our cookie banner, and we apply Google Consent Mode v2. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Elsewhere, these technologies may be enabled by default consistent with local law, and you can still opt out via the same control or your browser settings.
Because our advertising pixels run only with consent (or where permitted), you control whether Google, Meta, and Reddit receive event data from your browser. We share hashed identifiers with these partners only for measurement and matching, never your raw email for browser pixels.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Doing so may break parts of the sites (for example, staying signed in).

The analytics and advertising providers named above set their own cookies and process data under their own policies. Please review Google's, Meta's, and Reddit's privacy and cookie policies for details.
